I lead the Upper Midwest Environmental Consulting group which covers Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. Together, Nic Andreani and I lead the环境咨询group for Braun Intertec. The Upper Midwest Environmental Consulting group specializes in environmental investigation and remediation services, but we’re also steadily growing our permitting, compliance and natural resources service lines.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in environmental science and urban planning at Minnesota State University in Mankato and my Master of Public Health degree in environmental health at the University of Minnesota. I’m also currently enrolled in the executive education program at the University of St. Thomas Opus School of Business.

I liked the idea of working outdoors and being able to work on a variety of projects across the United States. I realized that no two projects were alike and I appreciated that variability in my day.
What is your favorite aspect of your role or the most rewarding part of what you do at Braun Intertec?

What is your approach to client problem-solving?
My approach to client problem-solving hinges on our ability to interpret technical results into actionable business solutions. Not everyone has the time, nor are they qualified to properly read project reports. As trusted advisors, we are positioned to partner with clients as they navigate complex regulatory environments and make critical business decisions.

Above all, I look for responsive team members who are willing to learn and collaborate on the job. Our projects are always in flux and a good consultant will be ready to tackle any of the unexpected conditions we might encounter on a project site.
What should new Braun Intertec employees know about working here? Do you have a piece of advice for someone entering your profession?
